Jabuticaba

A curiosity of this fruit is that it's considered the largest hanging fruit in the world. Its weight can exceed 35 kg and measure up to 90 cm! Originating from India, this fruit has a sweet and sour taste. Its pulp is yellowish.




Mangosteen


Originating from Indonesia, it has a very hard dark skin, and its pulp is shaped like garlic cloves. A curiosity about this fruit is that it strengthens the immune system and works as a diuretic and energizer. In fact, in oriental medicine, the peel of this fruit is used to combat muscle pains and fever.




Rambutan


Although it comes from Malaysia and Thailand, it can also be found in Latin America, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. It's used as an accompaniment to salads, meats, and vegetables. It helps alleviate stomach pains and indigestion.




Horned Melon


Originally from Africa, the taste of this fruit changes depending on how it's prepared. If consumed sweet with sugar, its taste resembles banana and kiwi. If consumed as a salad, it resembles cucumber.
